We sell meat from our Southdowns, Longwool Cross Wethers and Whitefaced Woodland. Each are uniquely tasty and succulent.
Fleeces & Wool
These ewes’ parentage is Whitefaced Woodland, a pleasant, medium staple fleece which, at its best spins comfortably, takes dye well and can be felted.

Our Farm
Mature oaks, ash, sycamore and scots pine stand tall, but stunted hawthorns, remnants old hedges, lean away from the southwest winds. On sheltered slopes, birch, rowan, hazel and aspen provide food and refuge for our abundant bird and wild life.
Our Sheep
Whitefaced Woodlands are hardy, thrifty sheep and excellent mothers, but the lambs mature quite slowly. This makes their meat really tasty, but limits the number of lambs a ewe will produce in her lifetime. They provide top-notch longwool fleeces, much sought after by hand spinners, with the finest wool generally coming from this first clipping.
